Description

The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government is seeking a competent individual to provide clerical people management services to client departments. This permanent role involves managing appointments and payroll matters, maintaining electronic databases, and ensuring proper record-keeping of personnel information.

Responsibilities

  • Administer appointments, payroll matters, and personnel suitability checks
  • Process employment contracts and appointment letters
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Handle acting allowances and various appointment types (eg interns, apprenticeships)

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification)
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Knowledge and experience with HR systems
  • Administrative and Human Resource Management experience
  • Valid code B (or higher) driver’s license
